I loved loved loved my two days riding with Myfanwy, she was very personable whilst also giving me the time enjoy the amazing riding and views. I have put off booking riding holidays in the past simply because I worried about the condition of the horses I was expected to ride. Myfanwy's horse are clearly well loved and extremely well cared for and were happy to be there. I came back from my 3 days feeling extremely well looked after, incredibly full and a little heavier but mostly with an inner peace I haven't felt in a long time.

Absolutely amazing! I've loved the B&B I was staying in, the hosts, riding stable and the ride. It was absolutely perfect! Everyone was super friendly, the food was great, so were the people and the horses! The weather was perfect, sunny, and the ride was stunning!

Some difficult terrain requiring good balance and control in the saddle, horses were very good, so less experienced riders could do the same route with walk only or an easier route as the guides are very experienced.

I just wanted to let you know that Kerry had the most amazing time on the hack yesterday. The all day hack was perfect and she was looked after so well. Kerry loved riding Sox and he was very sure-footed picking his path back down the steep hills.

All of the horses that we used were amazing. My daughter had a wonderful pony that she was able to ride on both days. I was able to ride a couple of different ones, but both were well suited for the rides.

Beyond the excellent food and very comfy accommodation, the thing that stood out to me is how Ellesmere made sure to cater for all levels. As the most experienced rider of the group I was very lucky on the first day to be sent on my own with a guide, so we had a fabulous ride taking all the canter opportunities. On second day we took it slow as there were novice riders, but the guide still made sure I had the chance to canter alone during the day.

Fabulous riding experience!! We have just returned from 2 days riding with the team at Ellesmere, we are both fairly experienced and the riding definitely met expectations. The horses are lovely, forward going and a lot of fun. We were lucky enough to have good weather so glorious view across the Brecons and the Black Mountains. We will definitely be back!

Lovely way to see the National Park .You had to canter fast, deal with rough terrain and vegetation, steep inclines and do roadwork, encounter gates and livestock.

Myfanwy was a wonderful host and her horses were a delight to ride. The countryside was stunning and there was a great mix of terrains and speeds over the two days' riding. This was an amazing short break!

This was a brilliant riding holiday! I can not express how perfect the trip was. The horses were so well behaved, smart, and independent. The scenery was unbelievable, so much better than the pictures on the website, I was blown away. And the staff so kind and loving. After three days I felt like I was part of the family! This is possible Wales best kept secret that I want everyone to know about! Unspoiled land, rides that can be adjusted to the riders experience level, and hospitality unlike anywhere else I’ve ridden. Just book the trip, you won’t regret it.
